- In a bowl, combine the ground beef, onion powder, salt, black pepper, dill relish, Worcestershire sauce, and dill relish.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface so it is shaped like a diamond. Place about 2 tablespoons of the ground beef mixture in the middle.
- Roll the egg roll from the bottom corner over the beef. Fold in the sides like an envelope. Then, continue rolling the egg roll up into a tube. If the final edge does not stick, apply a tiny amount of water before rolling up.
- Place egg rolls in the air fryer basket and spray with olive oil or canola oil spray.
- Bake in the air fryer for about 6 minutes, turning halfway, or until browned on all sides. (Time may vary based on the wattage of the air fryer.)
- Serve with ketchup, mustard, or preferred dipping sauce.
Tips Tricks and FAQs
- Be sure to use a lean ground beef and drain off the fat to make these as lean as possible.
- This is a very simple filling, you can add in extras if you choose like onions, cooked bacon pieces, and even some seasoning salt for even more flavor.
- To make this an easy meal you will want to roll all your egg rolls at once. Set up an assembly line and get rolling.
- Don't forget to seal up your egg rolls with a little bit of water.
- You can easily double the recipe if you choose.
Storage
You will want to store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container. They will lose their crispiness over time, but will still have good flavor.
Freezer
The great thing about these egg rolls is that you can make a ton of them and freeze them to enjoy later. Just wrap as directed then place the egg rolls on a piece of parchment paper on a tray and place them in the freezer. Once frozen add them to a freezer-safe bag.
When you are ready to enjoy, thaw in the fridge overnight and cook in the Air Fryer. Do not cook these frozen.
What can I dip my egg rolls in?
The possibilities are endless when it comes to dipping your egg rolls! Dip them in mayonnaise, ketchup, fry sauce, mustard, or even cheese dip!
How long do eggrolls stay crispy once cooked?
Typically egg rolls will stay crispy for about 2 days in the fridge. The filling will lose its crispiness much faster.
How do I reheat egg rolls so they're crispy?
Thankfully you can reheat these in the Air Fryer to help crispy them back up in just a few minutes.
